WIN: Z39.50 Oberflaeche

Hallo Liste,
ich habe kuezlich mal u.a.

BookWhere for Windows v2.0 - README
Welcome to BookWhere? for Windows
What is BookWhere?
------------------
BookWhere is a bibliographic database searching tool that allows
you search the databases of libraries around the world for books
or other material of interest to you.

BookWhere makes use of the Z39.50 protocol to communicate with
compatible servers on the Internet. If your local library (or one
that interests you) offers Z39.50 Internet access, you should be
able to use BookWhere to search its catalog. Not only can you
search a single database, but you can define groups of databases
that can be searched in a single operation. You can even define
multiple queries that search multiple sets of databases all
simultaneously!

BookWhere has been designed to be both easy enough for the novice
to learn quickly and yet powerful enough to satisfy the
professional researcher.

NEW!! BookWhere can be configured as a Web browser helper
application. By clicking on a BookWhere link on a Web page you
can access BookWhere's search and retrieval capabilities from the
Web.

NOTE: Evaluation copies limit search results to 10 records and
disable additional features.
