Subject: First Doctoral Consortium at JCDL 2005

Greetings-

Apologies for cross-posting, please share with interested colleagues and
students.

The Call for Participation for the First Doctoral Consortium of the Joint
Conference on Digital Libraries has been posted to the JCDL website at
http://www.jcdl2005.org/doctoral.html

The Doctoral Consortium is a workshop for Ph.D. students from all over the
world who are in the course of their dissertation work. The goal of the
Doctoral Consortium is to help students with their thesis by providing
feedback on their research as well as to give general advice on using the
research environment in a constructive and international atmosphere. The
workshop will be a full day and will be held in Boulder, CO on June 7th
followed by a drive to Denver to join the JCDL conference and a group
dinner. A very limited number of students will have the opportunity to
participate. Students will be expected to pay their expenses and should plan
to attend JCDL 2005, registered as students.

Deadline for submission of abstracts is March 25, 2005.

Please see the website for additional information or contact
doctconsort@xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you-
