[InetBib] WG: IFLA-Anfrage zu urheberrechtlichen Ausnahmeregeln für Bildungszwecke

Liebe Liste,

diese Anfrage erreichte mich als Mitglied des IFLA-Committee on Copyright and
other Legal Matters (CLM).
an Professor Xalabarder Plantada <rxalabarder@xxxxxxx>, copied to Teresa
Hackett <teresa.hackett@xxxxxxxx> zu schicken.
Eine kurze allgemeine Übersicht über die einschlägigen Schranken im deutschen
Urheberrecht habe ich bereits gesendet.

beste Grüße

Betreff: [IFLA-CLM] WIPO study: North America, Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia
and Israel region

-Assistance with WIPO study on educational exceptions and limitations
for North America, Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia and Israel region.
Please circulate to the library/education communities in your country.

-Full list of countries below.

-Responses by the end of August, please.

Dear colleagues,

Following the publication of studies on copyright exceptions for blind
and visually impaired people (2006) and libraries (2008), WIPO has
commissioned studies on Copyright Limitations and Exceptions for
Educational Activities. Librarians contributed case studies to the other
reports, and we have once again been asked to assist. This is your
opportunity to flag up whatever copyright-related problems you encounter
for educational activities, as well as any satisfactory solutions you
have found.

Libraries provide vital support to the education sector and are an
integral part of educational institutions. For libraries in North
America, Europe, Caucasus, Central Asia and Israel region, Professor
Raquel Xalabarder Plantada from the Open University of Catalonia would
like to hear your experience working with educators and learners in
relation to the copyright law of your country, based on the questions below.

If you think you have anything to contribute, no matter how big or
small, please let us know. You don't need to know the detail of your
copyright law.

Please send any responses to Professor Xalabarder Plantada
<rxalabarder@xxxxxxx>, copied to <teresa.hackett@xxxxxxxx> for
information. Thank you for your support for this important project!

Best wishes
Teresa
