[InetBib] Stellenausschreibung, British Library, Research Identifiers Lead

Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

fuer die u.a.

The British Library is seeking to appoint a project Lead for its contribution
to the European Commission-funded FREYA project
(https://www.project-freya.eu/en). FREYA is a 36-month project with a budget of
€5m funded under the Horizon 2020 programme. The project contributes to the
development of a robust environment for a wide range of Persistent Identifiers
in support of research. Its mission is to enable the emergence of a trustworthy
research infrastructure so that the potential of Open Science can be fully
exploited.

As a partner in FREYA, the British Library is focusing on integrating
persistent identifiers into its services, supporting global research
infrastructure, providing training, and working with academic communities (in
particular in the humanities) to increase the use of identifiers for research.
The post-holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the
British Library’s contributions to FREYA, coordinating work across the Library,
and collaborating with project partners to develop services related to
identifiers. They will also work closely with academic communities, in
particular the (digital) humanities, to increase the use of persistent
identifiers.
