ETH Library Lab: Lernen Sie das Innovationslabor und seine spannenden Projekte 
kennen

Einladung zum 17:15 Kolloquium der ETH-Bibliothek

Das ETH Library Lab wurde 2018 als interdisziplinäre Innovationsinitiative der 
ETH-Bibliothek gegründet. Ziel des ETH Library Lab ist es, junge Talente mit 
unterschiedlichem fachlichem, meist wissenschaftlichem Hintergrund dabei zu 
unterstützen, eigene innovative Produkt- oder Dienstleistungskonzepte 
experimentell zu validieren und prototypisch umzusetzen. Es werden Projekte 
gefördert, die zur zukunftsorientierten Weiterentwicklung wissenschaftlicher 
Informationsinfrastrukturen und -services beitragen können.

In ihrem Vortrag teilt Maximiliane Okonnek, Managing Director, 
Herausforderungen, Lernerfahrungen und Erfolge im Kontext des Aufbaus des ETH 
Library Lab mit Ihnen. Sie erhalten zudem einen Einblick in bisher unterstützte 
Fellowprojekte, und Maximiliane Okonnek stellt Ihnen deren Beitrag zur 
digitalen Transformation der ETH-Bibliothek vor. Des Weiteren erfahren Sie mehr 
über potenzielle zukünftige Aktivitätsfelder von wissenschaftlichen 
Bibliotheken, Sammlungen und Archiven.

Die Formel des 17:15 Kolloquiums lautet: 30 Minuten Vortrag + 30 Minuten 
Diskussion + Gesprächsrunde in Kleingruppen = Inspiration für den Arbeitsalltag.

ETH Library Lab: Learn all about the innovation lab and its exciting projects

Invitation to the 17:15 Colloquium by the ETH Library

The ETH Library Lab was founded in 2018 as an interdisciplinary innovation 
initiative of the ETH Library. The aim of the ETH Library Lab is to help 
talented young people from a range of different subjects (usually in the 
sciences) to carry out experimental validation and create prototypes for their 
innovative product or service concepts. Projects are supported that can make a 
contribution to the future-oriented development of scientific information 
structures and services.

In her presentation, Maximiliane Okonnek, managing director, shares the 
challenges the Lab faced, the learning experiences they had and the successes 
they enjoyed during the establishment of the ETH Library Lab. You will also get 
an insight into the fellowship projects the Lab has supported so far, and 
Maximiliane Okonnek will present the contributions to the digital 
transformation of the ETH Library. Furthermore, you will learn all about 
potential future fields of activity for scientific libraries, collections and 
archives. The event language is German.

The 17:15 Colloquium formula is: a 30-minute presentation + a 30-minute
