Ariane programme for books and reading

gerne leite ich die folgenden zeilen von eblida an sie weiter: 

> A new, and probably, final call for applications under the Ariane programme
> for books and reading is published in the Official Journal C 46 of 11
> February 1998. Deadline for applications is 1 May 1998. Projects must take
> place in 1998. The results of the selection will be announced before 1 July
> 1998.
> The following actions are eligible:
> Action 1: Translation Grants
> Action 2: Suport for cooperation projects carried out in partnership which
> aim to improve the promotion of, and access by the citizen to, books and
> reading
> Action 3: Improvement of the skills of professionals working towards the
> knowledge and dissemination of European literature
>
> Re action 2: 
> Partnerns from at least 3 Member States must be involved, projects must be
> presented by networks, associations or organisations of professionals,
> non-profit-making foundations or regional (local) groups. Financial support
> is given to meetings, symposia, events, pilot schemes for cooperation or
> exchanges that promote the knowledge of and access to literature or history
> of European people; to facilitate access to data on the dissemination,
> promotion and translation of books and access by citizen to reading; to
> exchange experience and know-how.

> Financial support will not exceed 25% or ECU 50.000 (projects requesting
> Community support under ECU 5.000 are not eligible!)

> Re action 3:
> Financial support is given for the improvement of skills of literary
> translators as well as other professionals in the field of books and
