Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

es gibt ja bibliothekarische Maillisten fuer Linux und NT.
Hier eine neue Liste, die
	Perl in Bibliotheken
zum Thema hat, mit dem man u.a. cgi-Skripten
hinter Webseiten gestalten kann,
viele Gruesse vom hbk ;-)

New Listserv: Perl4Lib

Perl4Lib is an unmoderated, open list. This list has been established to
encourage beginning Perl programmers, and to provide a forum for the
exchange of ideas and programs by active Perl programmers. Subscribers are
encouraged to email programs, both simple and less simple, of interest to
librarians, explaining what the scripts do. Obviously, the programs are
not guaranteed. As many of us have discovered, Perl is not that difficult
to learn, with the help of some simple examples, a book and a network of
helpful colleagues. There is a companion Web site at:

http://www.vims.edu/perl4lib

You can unsubscribe to this list at any time by sending the command
UNSUBSCRIBE PERL4LIB as the body of your message to LISTPROC _at__ VIMS.EDU.
Non-members can subscribe by sending SUBSCRIBE PERL4LIB NAME as the body of
the message to LISTPROC _at__ VIMS.EDU. Any name will do.

Perl4Lib is supported by the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS),
Gloucester Point, Virginia. The list is administered by Charles McFadden,
VIMS, Gloucester Point, VA, 23062, (804) 684-7114. Please report any
problems or comments to chuck _at__ vims.edu.
