[InetBib] [AMIA-L] LC motion picture copyright catalogs now online

Just a note to let people know that four out of five of the Catalog of Copyright Entries cumulated volumes for motion pictures are scanned and online. The fifth (1894-1912) is in the works.

They are available for download in various formats, including uncorrected .txt files, which have some problems but are in good enough shape that an enterprising person or persons could fix them up and build a neat public database.

It's lists of motion pictures registered for copyright, cumulated by decade. LC retained a small percentage of these for its Copyright Collection, but for most of them retained only documentation such as synopses, scripts or frame enlargements.

> >Rick, can you clarify just what this list is? Is it the your collection at the LOC, or is it everything at the LOC?
