"From Information to Innovation"


ICSTI's (International Council for Scientific and Technical Information) 
Annual Conference 2010 will take place in Helsinki, Finland, on 

June 10 and 11, 2010. 

"From Information to Innovation" 
has been chosen as the main theme of the conference and will highlight 
the significance of information as the enabler and catalyst for 
scientific, technical and business developments and point to 
the elements of success in building the future. 

There are three inspiring sub-themes:
? Information as the lifeblood of research and innovation  
? Intelligent information solutions and services 
? Creating the future - towards the global innovation economy 

Registration is now open! 
Book the dates in your calendar and take advantage of the 
earlybird registration date. 

The venue of the conference is hotel Crowne Plaza Helsinki.

The one-and-a-half day conference programme features e.g.  
-  Mikko Kosonen from Sitra the Finnish Innovation Fund, 
-  Adam Bly from Seed Media Group,  
-  Jay Katzen from Elsevier Science & Technology division and 
-  Juan-Carlos Sobrino from Nature Publishing Group 
as keynote speakers. 

The conference will be hosted by the 
-  Society for Finnish Information Specialists (Tietoasiantuntijat ry), 
-  VTT's Knowledge Solutions (VTT:n Tietoratkaisut) and the 
-  National Board of Patents and Registration of Finland 
   (Patentti- ja rekisterihallitus).
