Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

im kommenden Frühjahr bieten wir erneut zwei einführende GESIS-Workshops (in 
englischer Sprache) zu den Themen Forschungsdatenmanagement für 
Sozialwissenschaftler/innen sowie Einführung in die digitale 
Langzeitarchivierung an, auf die ich Sie hier gerne aufmerksam machen möchte:

Registration is now open for two training courses the GESIS Archive and Data 
Management Training Center is holding in Cologne, Germany.

1) First steps towards digital preservation: April 2 (1pm) - April 4 (1 pm), 
2014
The workshop is intended as a primer in digital preservation. It introduces  
central concepts of digital preservation, providing participants with a common 
terminology to understand an (idealized) preservation and dissemination

2) Introduction to Research Data Management for Social Scientists: April 9 (2 
pm) - April 11 (1 pm), 2014
Designed to address the needs of social science researchers, this course 
discusses ways to maintain the security and integrity of research data for
