[InetBib] Einladung und Programm zur EVA Berlin Konferenz 2014



Bereits zum 21. Mal findet vom 5. - 7. November 2014 die EVA Berlin
Konferenz zum Thema „Elektronische Medien & Kunst, Kultur und Historie“
im Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin am Kulturforum Potsdamer Platz
(Matthäikirchplatz 8, 10785 Berlin) statt.

Die EVA Berlin ist das jährliche Forum für elektronische Dokumentations-
und Visualisierungstechniken im Kulturbereich. Erfolgreiche
Digitalisierungsprojekte mit Bezug zum kulturellen Erbe, netzbasierte
Forschungs- und Vermittlungskooperationen sowie innovative
informationstechnische Serviceangebote für Museen, Bibliotheken und
Archive werden praxisnah, anwendungsorientiert und in fachübergreifenden
Zusammenhängen vorgestellt. Gedächtnisinstitutionen,
Technologieentwickler, Informationswissenschaftler und öffentliche
Verwaltungen treten in einen Diskurs über aktuelle Tendenzen und
innovative Techniken in der digitalen Gesellschaft. Konferenz, Workshops
und begleitende Ausstellung bieten vielfältig Gelegenheit zum
Erfahrungsaustausch und Vorstellen neuer Verfahren und Produkte sowie
zur Vorbereitung kooperativer Zusammenarbeit.

Die Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin / Preußischer Kulturbesitz und das
Fraunhofer-Institut für Graphische Datenverarbeitung IGD freuen sich
über Ihre Teilnahme.

Inhaltlicher Schwerpunkt der diesjährigen EVA ist die
3D-Digitalisierung, Dokumentation und Präsentation von historischem
Kulturgut:

EVA Berlin conference 2014 – Invitation and Program



The Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, Preußischer Kulturbesitz (National
Museums in Berlin, Prussian Cultural Heritage) and the Fraunhofer
Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD invites to the 21st EVA
Berlin conference on Electronic Media & Art, Culture, History, which
will be held from 5 to 7 November 2014. Venue is the Kunstgewerbemuseum
Berlin (Museum of Decorative Arts) at the Kulturforum Potsdamer Platz,
Berlin’s culture Plaza (Matthäikirchplatz 8, 10785 Berlin).

The EVA Berlin conference is an annual discussion forum for electronic
documentation and visualization technologies in the field of cultural
heritage applications. Ambitious digitization projects with regard to
cultural context, network-based research and new technical opportunities
for museums, libraries and archives are presented with a strong
reference to their usage. It encourages the exchange between heritage
institutions and technology providers, information professionals and the
public administration on current issues and innovative technologies of
the digital society. Conference, workshops and exhibition offer a
valuable opportunity to gain insight into new products and services and
to establish partnerships.
