Information Science in the German-speaking countries
Special issue call for papers from Aslib Journal of Information Management

This special issue, to be published in 2019, is edited by Joachim Griesbaum,
University of Hildesheim (Germany), Dirk Lewandowski, Hamburg University of
Applied Sciences (Germany) and Isabella Peters, Christian-Albrechts-Universität
zu Kiel and ZBW (Germany).

This special issue focuses on information science research from the
German-speaking countries. It aims to give researchers from these countries a
forum to disseminate their research findings to an international audience and
to bring together research from these countries in one venue.

We welcome research papers concerning all aspects relevant to information
science. All submissions will be reviewed by international experts not
affiliated with an institution in the German-speaking countries. The journal
follows a double-blind review process.

Submissions
All methodological approaches are welcome. Case studies and proof-of-concept
studies should present new and unique findings and highlight future research
possibilities and developments. Opinion pieces will not be considered for the
special issue.

Papers should be 4,000 to 9,000 words in length (including references) and in
accordance with the journal’s author guidelines. At least one author has to be
affiliated with an institution in the German-speaking countries. Contributions
should be submitted in English.
