weitere Originaldokumente des Autors

Stufenweise und noch vor Ablauf der Urheberrechte macht das 
Thomas-Mann-Archiv<https://tma.ethz.ch/> in Absprache mit der Erbengemeinschaft 
und deren Sprecher Prof. Dr. Frido Mann sowie in Zusammenarbeit mit dem S. 
Fischer Verlag<https://www.fischerverlage.de/> Originaldokumente Thomas Manns 
online zugänglich. Neu im Online-Angebot<http://www.online.tma.ethz.ch/home/#/> 
sind die im Thomas-Mann-Archiv überlieferten Dokumente im Umfeld von «Der 
Zauberberg» und «Betrachtungen eines Unpolitischen», sowie die Briefe von 
1924-1932.

Öffentliche Führung zum online-Angebot

Auch die diesjährige Öffentliche Führung des Thomas-Mann-Archivs steht im 
Zeichen der neuen online-Handschriften. Am Dienstag, 20. Oktober 2020, findet 
ein Gespräch zwischen der Archivleiterin, Dr. Katrin Bedenig, und dem für 
Thomas Mann verantwortlichen Lektor des S. Fischer Verlags, Roland Spahr, dazu

In den nächsten Jahren werden weitere Digitalisate aus dem Nachlass Thomas 
Manns sukzessive aufgeschaltet und ergänzen die bereits für sämtliche 
Nachlass-Dokumente online verfügbaren Metadaten.

Das Thomas-Mann-Archiv der ETH Zürich sichert und pflegt den literarischen 
Nachlass Thomas Manns. Es vermittelt diesen seit seiner Gründung 1956 an die 
wissenschaftliche Forschung und die interessierte Öffentlichkeit. Die Bestände 
werden kontinuierlich ergänzt.

Thomas Mann manuscripts online

Via the "Archive database online", the Thomas Mann Archives provide access to 
further original documents of the author

In consultation with the community of heirs and their representative, Professor 
Frido Mann, the Thomas Mann Archives<https://tma.ethz.ch/en/> and S. Fischer 
Verlag<https://www.fischerverlage.de/> are publishing Thomas Mann's original 
documents online, before the copyright runs out. The online 
resources<http://www.online.tma.ethz.ch/home/#/> now contain documents relating 
to "The Magic Mountain" and "Reflections of an Nonpolitical Man", as well as 
letters from 1924 to 1932.

Public tour for the online resources

This year, the public tour of the Thomas Mann Archives will also focus on the 
new online manuscripts. On Tuesday, 20 October 2020, a talk on the subject will 
be held between the archive director, Dr Katrin Bedenig, and the Thomas Mann 
editor at S. Fischer Verlag, Roland Spahr. All the relevant information on the

Over the course of the coming years, more digitised resources from the personal 
papers of Thomas Mann will be published alongside the meta data for all of the 
personal papers, which is already available.

The Thomas Mann Archives at ETH Zurich preserve the literary works and personal 
papers of Thomas Mann. They have made them available for researchers and the 
public since the archives' foundation in 1956. The holdings are constantly 
updated.
