[InetBib] Important！iPRES2021 submission deadline extended to 31th May,2021 !

Dear Colleagues,


Due to the requirements of authors ,iPRES2021 local committee discussed and PC 
committee decided to extended the submission deadline to 31th May, 2021. We 
would like to make more time for authors and participants.

iPRES2021 is to be organized in a hybrid mode : Onsite and on line.

Aims to (1) preserve the rich interaction of the traditional on-site iPRES 
conferences, (2) enable the intensive exchanges between international and 
local/regional digital preservation communities, and (3) take the full 
advantages of large scale virtual conference capabilities to accommodate those 
remote participants due to various constrains.

Generally, domestic participants will participate on-site at Beijing, and 
international participates will be strongly encouraged to attend online.

Mindful of the uncertainty of the pandemic, the organizers, with the consent of 
iPRES Steering Committee, will not rule out the possibility that iPRES2021 be 
switched to online only mode in the situation then demands.

The central theme: Empowering Digital Preservation for the Enriched Digital 
Ecosystem, which covers the preservation challenges and practices for current 
of emerging types of digital content in traditional or emerging fields or 
applications.
