Dear all,

the German Reproducibility Network (GRN) invites you to the first German
Reproducibility Day:

 

When: 16 November 21, 1pm - 5pm  

Where: Online (Zoom)

 

The German Reproducibility Day is dedicated to all stakeholders of the
scientific landscape in Germany and beyond. The first event aims to raise
awareness and discuss the relevance of reproducible and robust research, why
a strong network of initiatives working towards open research in Germany is
needed, and what this network?s role and mission should be. Specific
examples from GRN members will be used to show how to implement and promote
reproducibility. There will also be enough space for social interaction and
exchange.

 

The event will be held in English and will be conducted via the video
conferencing tool Zoom. The seminar will not be recorded.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,

das German Reproducibility Network (GRN) lädt zum ersten ?German
Reproducibility Day? ein:

 

Wann: 16. November 2021, 13 - 17 Uhr

Wo: Online (Zoom)

 

Der ?German Reproducibility Day? ist allen Agierenden der
Wissenschaftslandschaft in Deutschland und darüber hinaus gewidmet. Ziel
dieser ersten Veranstaltung ist es, das Bewusstsein und die Relevanz für
reproduzierbare und robuste  Forschung zu schärfen. Außerdem soll diskutiert
werden, warum ein starkes Netzwerk von Initiativen für offene Forschung in
Deutschland benötigt wird und was die Rolle und Mission dieses Netzwerks
sein sollte. Anhand konkreter Beispiele von GRN-Mitgliedern wird gezeigt,
wie Reproduzierbarkeit umgesetzt und gefördert werden kann. Im Anschluss an
das Programm wird es genügend Raum für soziale Interaktion und Austausch
geben.

 

Die Veranstaltung findet in englischer Sprache statt und wird über das
Videokonferenz-Tool Zoom durchgeführt. Das Seminar wird nicht aufgezeichnet.
