British Library launches call for applications for the International Library 
Leaders Programme

The British Library will be running a week-long intensive professional 
development course for mid-career library and archive professionals on 18-22 
July 2022. The International Library Leaders Programme offers a unique 
opportunity to go behind the scenes at one of the world’s largest national 
libraries, with workshops, talks and tours given by senior staff from across 
the Library’s core departments and functions.

The inaugural programme in 2019 brought together delegates from around the 
world for a very successful and rewarding week. The 2020 and 2021 programmes 
were cancelled due to the pandemic, but we are now organising the next session 
for July 2022.
