Einladung zum 17:15 Kolloquium der ETH-Bibliothek

Mensch und Maschine: Humanoide «Educational Robots» eröffnen neue Wege im 
Bildungswesen. Im 17:15 Kolloquium der ETH-Bibliothek vom 23. Februar 2023 
erläutern wir deren Einsatz in Forschung und Praxis. Maschine bildet Mensch. 
Bereits heute kommen humanoide Roboter vielfältig zum Einsatz: von der 
Primarschule bis zur Hochschule.


Referentin Ricarda T. D. Reimer und Referent Silvan Flückiger von der 
Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz präsentieren aus medienpädagogischen und 
hochschuldidaktischen Perspektiven, wie «Bildungscyborgs» kritisch betrachtet 
und in der Praxis begleitet werden können. Wie können wir Roboter in den 
unterschiedlichen Bereichen von Arbeit, Gesellschaft und Wissenschaft 
gewinnbringend einsetzen? Die Ziele, Chancen und Herausforderungen dieser 
Technologie sind vielfältig – gerne möchten wir mit Euch im Kolloquium darüber 
in einen Dialog treten.

Ricarda T. D. Reimer leitet die Fachstelle Digitales Lehren und Lernen der 
FHNW, wo auch Silvan Flückiger als Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter angestellt 
ist. Beide sind zudem im Kompetenznetzwerk FHNW Robo-Lab tätig.

Das 17:15 Kolloquium der ETH-​Bibliothek findet statt am Donnerstag, 23. 
Februar 2023, um 17.15 Uhr in der ETH Zürich, Campus Zentrum, Rämistrasse 101, 
8092 Zürich, MM C 78.1 – Alumni Pavillon.

Educational cyborgs and the use of robots in higher educational institutions


Invitation to the 17:15 Colloquium by the ETH Library


Human and machine: humanoid “educational robots” open up new pathways in 
education. In the 17:15 Colloquium by the ETH Library on 23 February 2023, we 
explain how they can be used in research and practice.

Machines educating humans. Humanoid robots are already in widespread use today, 
from primary schools to higher educational institutions.

In this lecture, speakers Ricarda T. D. Reimer and Silvan Flückiger from the 
University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) explore 
how “educational cyborgs” can be critically evaluated and accompanied in 
practice from both a media education and university teaching perspective. How 
can we use robots to our advantage in the areas of work, society and science? 
There are many goals, opportunities and challenges of this technology. We would 
like to enter into dialogue with you about them at the Colloquium.

Ricarda T. D. Reimer is head of the Department for Digital Teaching and 
Learning at FHNW, where Silvan Flückiger also works as a research associate. 
Both also play an active role in the FHNW Robo Lab competence network

2023, at 17.15 at ETH Zurich, Zentrum Campus, Rämistrasse 101, 8092 Zürich, MM
