Liebe KollegInnen, liebe christine-d. sauer,
herzlichen dank fuer diesen hinweis. ich glaube, ein besuch dieser summer school 
wuerde sich lohnen. das clw war, als ich es anfang der 80er jahre kennengelernt 
habe, die groesste ausbildungsstaette für bid-berufe in europa (!) mit 
internationalem flair. ich habe in aberystwyth ueber meine damals gerade 
erschienen werke
-  bibliotheken, information und dokumentation in grossbritannien   und
-  ueber die ausbildung von bibliothekaren ... in grossbritannien 
lange diskutiert, und die briten kamen dabei auf den gedanken, man solle einen 
deutsch-britischen erfahrungsaustausch der bid-lehrkraefte am clw veranstalten. 
clw wuerde die am ort anfallenden kosten uebernehmen, und die am ort befindliche 
national library of wales waere gewiss auch fuer die deutschen kollegen einen 
besuch wert.
umn es kurz zu machen: clw hat auf dieses angebot von deutscher seite noch nicht 
einmal eine antwort erhalten !! der damalige provinzialismus deutscher 
bibliotheksausbildungs-lehrkraefte liess so etwas nicht zu.  schwamm drueber !!

das angebot fuer 1998 sollte man deshalb nutzen, weil a) strukturprobleme, b) 
identifikationsprobleme und c) managementprobleme im deutschen bid-bereich 
unuebersehbar sind. und internationale kontakte haben noch nie jemandem 
geschadet. man koennte dann das INTERNET nutzen, um sie zu vertiefen.
