Trainer Library Information (35h/ week)

for the Global Library Information Resources Group

Your Responsibilities:

o       Trains and supports all European based employees across all 
divisions in using the products and services of Library Information 
Resources (LIR)
o       Coordinates and conducts onsite and web-based customer training to 
promote effective use of LIR products and services
o       Develops and maintains printed and electronic training material in 
coordination with other LIR marketing and training staff
o       Tracks, analyzes and shares customer feedback from training 
programs and organizes follow-up activities in order to improve LIR 
products, services, 
            marketing and training
o       Consults with clients to provide value-added, targeted training 
programs and materials that support the divisions? business needs
o       Assists and participates in the integration of training material 
and programs into the LIR portal
o       Assists in developing and implementing marketing activities for 
training purposes
o       Manages the day to day operations within the European Service 
Center
o       Establishes an affiliate communication plan in coordination with 
colleagues in the US

Youre Qualification:

o       Degree in Library/ Information Science or comparable work 
experience in healthcare or life sciences
o       Several years of experience in training and education, preferably 
in life science and/ or information profession
o       Good IT skills, incl. knowledge of desktop tools, and web 
applications
o       Excellent command of English, both verbal and written, knowledge 
of a second foreign language is a plus
o       Excellent presentation skills
o       Good communication skills and customer orientation
o       Ability to travel (ca. 30 %)
