Liebe Koll.,

im Rahmen e. Projekts des SES (Senioren-Experten-Service) soll ich demnächst 
Beschäftigte einer mittleren Bibliothek (70.000 Bde.) im Jemen in die 
wichtigsten Grundlagen der heutigen Bibliotheksarbeit einweisen .
Die fachlichen Voraussetzungen sind bisher dort kaum vorhanden.
Ich denke dabei, dass ich etwa das Niveau des mittleren Dienstes als Lernziel 
ansehen muss.
Ich suchte bisher vor allem nach engl.sprachiger Einführungsliteratur bzw.
Lehrbücher wie Hacker, ohne Ähnliches gefunden zu haben.
Daneben bin ich auch für Hinweise zu englischsprachigen Literaturdatenbanken 
dankbar.
Auch Hinweise von Koll. mit Erfahrung in ähnl. Projekten wären hilfreich.
