als zentrale Informationsinfrastruktur für die Lebenswissenschaften
hat ZB MED zahlreiche Angebote für Wissenschaftlerinnen und
Wissenschaftler im Bereich der Forschung an SARS-CoV-2 und COVID-19
auf dem ZB MED COVID-19 HUB zusammengestellt

selbstverständlich frei zugänglich.
Auf der Plattform gibt es eine Sammlung verschiedener Ressourcen von
freier Literatur, aktuellen Quellen und Text-Mining-Korpora. ZB MED
entwickelt zudem weitere Literatur- und Daten-Services, die Forschende
rund um COVID-19 informieren:
Auf unserem Suchportal LIVIVO haben wir zum Beispiel eine
automatisierte Suche zu aktuellen Recherchen zu SARS-CoV-2 eingebaut

Durch die Forschungsexpertise, die sich inzwischen bei ZB MED
etabliert hat, konnten wir auf das neuartige Coronavirus mit konkreten
Tools reagieren. So stellen wir auf dem ZB MED COVID-19 HUB für
molekularbiologisch Forschende interaktive, bioinformatische Werkzeuge
wie z.B. Genomebrowser, Multiples Sequence Alignment Viewer und
phylogenetische Bäume der kompletten SARS-CoV-2-Genome bereit. Das
Angebot wird kontinuierlich in Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Forschenden
weiterentwickelt.
Zudem ist ZB MED als Konsortialleitung im NFDI4Microbiota-Konsortium
aktiv. Dessen Mitglieder stellen zahlreiche Informationsdienste und
Analysetools für die virologische Forschungsgemeinschaft bereit

MED, we were able to respond to the novel coronavirus with concrete
tools. At the ZB MED COVID-19 HUB, e.g., we provide interactive,
bioinformatics tools for molecular biology researchers, such as genome
browsers, multiple sequence alignment viewers and phylogenetic trees
of the complete SARS-CoV-2 genomes. The offer is continuously
developed in cooperation with other researchers.
ZB MED is also active as consortium leader in the NFDI4Microbiota
consortium. Its members provide numerous information services and
analysis tools for the virological research community
