Die Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD), eine 
internationale Organisation, die sich der Förderung der Einführung, Erstellung, 
Nutzung, Verbreitung und Bewahrung elektronischer Dissertationen widmet, lädt 
Sie zum 25. internationalen Symposium für Dissertationen, ETD 2022, ein.

ETD 2022 findet vom 07. bis 09. September in Novi Sad, Serbien, statt und wird 
von der Universität Novi Sad (http://www.uns.ac.rs/) ausgerichtet und von den 
gemeinnützigen Organisationen Science 2.0 Alliance (http://sci2zero.org/) und 
NTLTD (http://www.ndltd.org/) mitorganisiert. Die Konferenz bietet eine 
hervorragende Gelegenheit, mit Fachleuten aus verschiedenen Ländern Erfahrungen 
im Bereich ETD auszutauschen, innovative Projekte und Initiativen zu erörtern, 
erfolgreiche Erfahrungen und aktuelle Praktiken weiterzugeben und sich mit 
Kollegen und Freunden aus der ganzen Welt zu vernetzen.

Das Thema der Konferenz lautet "FAIRness of ETDs and its implications". Wir 
hoffen, dass die Konferenz eine fruchtbare Diskussion über die Bedeutung der 
Anwendung der FAIR-Prinzipien bei ETDs und ergänzenden Materialien auslösen 
wird. Wir beabsichtigen, Themen anzusprechen wie:

FAIRness von ETDs und ergänzenden Materialien;
ETD und offene Wissenschaft;
ETDs und Forschungsdaten;
ETDs und Quellcode.

About ETD 2022

The Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD), an 
international organization dedicated to promoting the adoption, creation, use, 
dissemination, and preservation of electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs), 
invites you to attend the 25th International Symposium of Theses and 
Dissertations, ETD 2022.

ETD 2022 held in Novi Sad, Serbia, from 07 to 09 September, is hosted by 
University of Novi Sad (http://www.uns.ac.rs/), and co-organized by non-profit 
organizations Science 2.0 Alliance (http://sci2zero.org/) and NTLTD 
(http://www.ndltd.org/). It will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ETD 
experiences with professionals from different countries, to discuss innovative 
projects and initiatives and to share successful experiences and up-to-date 
practices, and to network with colleagues and friends from all over the world.

The conference theme is “FAIRness of ETDs and its implications”. We hope the 
conference will raise a fruitful discussion on importance of application of 
FAIR principles at ETDs and supplement materials. We aim to address topics such 
as:

FAIRness of ETDs and supplement materials;
ETD and Open Science;
ETDs and research data;
ETDs and source code.
