The International Image Interoperability Framework<https://iiif.io/> (IIIF) is 
delighted to announce the opening of the Call for Proposals for the 2023 IIIF 
Annual Conference and Showcase<https://iiif.io/event/2023/naples/>, taking 
place in-person in Naples, Italy June 5-8, 2023. The conference will be hosted 
jointly by the University of Naples Federico II and the IIIF Consortium.

We look forward to seeing a wide variety of proposals from new and returning 
presenters from a variety of institutions, backgrounds, and experiences.
