2000 gabs den "When is a title change NOT a title change Award” für die 
Titeländerung  von "Geologischer Rundschau" zu "International Journal of 
Earth Sciences"

From 1910 until March 1999, the International Journal of Earth Sciences 
was known as Geologische Rundschau. The following explanation from the 
Editor-in Chief is from the first issue of the new title. “Geoligische 
Rundschau” changes its cover starting with this year's first issue. The 
Geologische Rundschau subtitle "International Journal of Earth Sciences" 
is now printed in a larger font size than in previous volumes. With this 
change we want to demonstrate the increasing acceptance of our journal 
among the international community of earth scientists." Despite their 
attempt to pass this off as a mere change in font size, it is a 
legitimate title change, complete with new ISSNs for both the print and 
electronic versions. Naturally, the old title "Geologische Rundschau" 
now appears as a subtitle.
